So, a few weeks ago, Alden and Carson and I packed up and headed North! Our first road trip without Daddy (which was very sad) but we thought we might as well take advantage of summer time fun in North Carolina!
Our first stop was Atlanta (after a VERY long drive from Tally), and we had a great visit with
Jon and Peyton. We took a walk to their neighborhood park, had a lovely lunch at a local spot, and then spent Monday morning at the Children's Museum of Atlanta, before heading North to the Carolinas.
There was a great train area just for kids their age at the museum.

Then, Peyton came up with the boys and I to North Carolina - it was amazing!!! A relaxing time for both of us!!

Tuesday, Pops and Kathy watched Alden and Carson while Peyton and I had some shopping and lunch time in town - it was SO relaxing!!!
The next day, Pops and Peyton headed back home and the rest of us headed to for a hike and lunch in town, and then to Cliffside for some swimming and a picnic.

The next day, we headed to Bryson City to ride Thomas the Train. It was SOOOO hot, but it was really fun!
