Speed

So, as most of you know, my dad, AKA Papa, is a sprinter. He competes at the local and Master levels and he is GOOD (I'm allowed to brag as his proud daughter!!) The local track club recently wrote an article about The True Speedsters and there's also another great article on our local magazine as well. He was even the 200  Meter Dash National Champion in 2009 for his age group (60-64)!!!

 Well, our local track club holds a Summer Track Series once per week in the summer. The kickoff to each evening at the track is the "Diaper Dash".  Seriously, Dad has been talking about Carson and Alden running this race since they were in-utero! So, a few weeks ago, we headed out to let the boys compete in their first race :)

You can see the video of their race here  - excuse the videography :) I was looking into the sun, and trying to follow both boys at the same time. I will make sure the camera is more steady next time!!!!

Carson, laughing the entire way down the track, won 3rd place!! Alden got a little turned around with all the people watching and cheering, but Daddy came to help him cross the finish line!!!
