A Time with Family and Friends

FINALLY, LA and Mike came home for a visit :) I'm not giving them a hard time; I know they come home as much as they can, but we haven't seen them since New Years so we were READY!!! This post is late, but we've been battling croup and colds around here, so I'm catching up.

From Memorial Day through Father's Day weekends, we packed up and headed down to the River/Beach - what a life :) Since the last post of Memorial Day pics, the next weekend, LA and Mike came to visit!! We stayed at The River with Grandmommy and Granddaddy. On Saturday morning, the boys and I spent the morning on the beach while Granddaddy and Daddy played golf.

 Then we headed over to the beach for the afternoon when LA and Mike arrived!!!

The next day, Papa took the boys on their first fishing trip!!! It was so much fun! Alden and Carson each caught their own fish! Papa set up a cane pole and the boys wanted to "catch" the fish by helping Papa guide the fish into their waiting nets - what fun!!

On Saturday of Father's Day weekend, we headed to The River to hang out with our extended family for the day - it was so cute to see so many kiddos out in the water playing!!

Then, on Father's Day, Daddy played golf and then watched some golf with his sons that afternoon.

They are so cute watching golf together! Whenever they see it come on TV - they say "Goff!! Goff!"

And a playdate early last week with their buddy Tyler.

The day after Tyler's visit, we got sick, sick, sick around here!! :( Carson got croup on last Tuesday, then Alden got it on Friday. Now, they're still coughing, and David I feel terrible too!! We need to get better before their big 2nd birthday arrives next week!!! Can't wait to share birthday pics soon!
