Summer Kickoff!

The end of May brings the kickoff of Summer, the Heat and Water Play!!
We started this off with the final day of "Critter Class" where it was water play for the morning.
Alden was enjoying "bathing" the animals in the water table.

 Carson was enjoying some time in the sandbox - complete with his signature "CHEESE" smile!

 Then the group headed to the shade for some sprinkler play. Alden and Carson were in the middle of the sprinkler and quite enjoying their time!

 Then, for Memorial Day weekend, we headed to St. Teresa to the BEACH!!! During some of our inside down time, the boys were enjoying playing on their cars in the house. We caught the cutest picture of them riding this one together - they are such great friends!!!

Then, on to the beach. Carson is just like his Mommy - light eyes and it really hurts his eyes to be in the sun. So, this pair of sunglasses (that I dug out of my bag from the summer they were born so they're a LITTLE small) was his lifesaver at the beach. Once he had them on, he wouldn't take them off. Such Relief!! (I know the feeling - I'm never outside without my sunglasses)

 And Alden took his first fishing trip :)

And after dinner, some playtime with Granddaddy.

The next day, some sandcastle-building with Daddy (and a silly hat that Carson insisting on wearing all day)  - but at least it keeps his fair skin from burning. Alden, on the other hand, is such a tan little boy after just one weekend at the beach!
