Alden and his Open-Air Crib :)This morning, the nurse said that Carson drank all 22 cc of his bottle in 11 minutes!! Way to go! They say that they want them to finish their feeding in about 15 minues, so he was so ready! Because of this, the docs have decided he can handle two bottles per day.
Alden was not quite so ready. They say it is quite common for the smaller twin to take to the bottle faster than their slightly older twin. They will try another bottle with Alden this weekend or early next week.
However, Alden, weighing in at 4 lbs 3.3oz (almost at his 4lb4oz birth weight), has been able to keep his body temperature constant and moved from his incubator to a "big boy"crib today - what a milestone!!!
